Crowdfunding Campaign for Support CAM Museum

CAM Contemporary Art Museum after so many battles for survival (watch here : request for Political Asylum in Germany 2011CAM Art War 2012CAM Art War ActionCAMouflage Action etc.), for making the Museum active and in life also in 2018, at the day of the 13th years of the opening of the museum, CAM launches a revolutionary new proposal  for the institutional lack of funding and ward off the danger of closure for lack of funds.

Now the artists have the opportunity to fund the museum by adopting 1 meter of museum space, exposing their art work minimum one full year and at the same time private citizens and businesses companies now they are able to adopt one of the artworks from the  permanent collection of the museum or participate with a minimum sum and they can be present with their name on the “Museum’s Supporting Column”.

This is one of the most interesting art movement ever carried out by a self-managed cultural institution directly by artists, private company and private citizens.

CAM Museum, founded and directed by Antonio Manfredi from 2004, is a 3000 m2 Museum, an open space with a collection of 1.500 international art works from artists from more than 50 countries, and in its work have realized more than 60 international exhibitions.

Above all the CAM Museum is a border museum that in the last 13 years with his exhibitions has raised the voice and fought against the corrupt politics (PolitikThe Art of CorruptionVote Art), has fought against the Mafia (CAMorraMAY BERoberto SavianoFAR WEST) and against racism (AfriCAMYOU NO SPEAK AMERICAN ORIGINAL). It has raised the voice for the woman condition and the struggles that the woman have (I AM WOMAN), and the most hard battle of all – against the pedophilia (WONDERLAND)… all the battles that led the museum to not receive public funding.

Supporting the CAM does not only mean helping a museum to survive, but helps the artists, the free art, and above all the culture of legality against mafias and corrupt politics and many other unresolved stuggles.
