Renato Barisani  

In 1918 he was born in Naples-Italy where he lives and  works. Between 1950 and 1955 he cooperated with “Movimento di Arte Concreta” (MAC). In 1993 in New York he was awarded the Pollock-Kramer Foundation prize. His works are on show at the National Gallery of Modern art in Rome, at the Capodimonte Museum and Castel dell’Ovo in Naples, Museo Rivoltella in Trieste, Galleria d’Arte Moderna Villa Guinigi in Lucca, Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Torino and at many collections of public institutions and at important private art galleries in the world. So far he has staged more than 200 individual exhibitions and took part in more than 500 group exhibitions at home and abroad. Selected exhibitions are: Scuderie del Palazzo Reale-Naples, Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici-Naples, Museo del Corso-Rome, Galleria Martinez-Valencia, Sala de Arte-Alicante, Galleria Michaud-Florence, Galleria Adelphi-Padua, Galleria Arti Visive-Rome, Galleria dei Carbonesi-Bologna, Palazzo Reale-Caserta.
