CONCEPT

Fear is a dark shadow.

She is always lying in wait and ready to torment you. She hurts you, because she cannot be controlled, becasue she is sharp and hard to stop. Strong and impetuous like passion, fear is also the passion's alter-ego, though. If passion is a hurricane of warm and bright colours, as red as fire, the colour of fear is grey.

Fear is white when she disappears and black when she keeps on hurting you.
if passion is crazy, even in sorrow and pain, fear is unfair, she undermines your life, little by little. Like a ghost, she appears when the contol of your senses decreases.
The collection "I'm in love with a ghost" expresses this tricky sensations by means of evanescent and delicate garments. It wants to tell the sufferings caused by fear.
The garment's collection was inspired by body's sensations, visually projecting on the material the untouchable shiver caused by fear.

The whole project consists of four hand made filmy dresses, wrapping the bodies and made up of tulle, Japanese paper, photos, accessories and a video. The fotos were first torn and then sewed on the dresses.

The pictures show shadows of male and female hands, in a passionate attempt to touch each other.

Both dresses and photos represent a cycle of feelings and emotions: the first dress tells of a meeting, the second one tells of the desire to be connected with each other, the third one represents the shy parting and the last dress is about the desperate attempt to stay together.
